Second day after the iGate is up and running and data collected is impressive, we manage to cover 80% of east coast of Penang island and some part of mainland which was not possible previously.

Our iGate is currently back online, and surprisingly the transceiver upgrade allow the iGate to receive 9W2FKT’s signal directly all the way from batu maung after he left 9W2POP’s QTH which was impossible previously when we rely on portable radio connected to the iGate as receiver and the same antenna setup and location.
